We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sean and Sharon, but take solace in the many good times with shared with both of them.
May they drift the endless waters of eternity in perfect peace and abiding love, until we meet again.

RIVERMADNESS Spring Event

Welcome To RiverMadness! — Twice a year we roll up the sleeping bags, stock up on beer and munchies and head to the Ichetucknee River in Northern Florida for a long weekend of canoeing, kayaking, singing, stargazing, swimming, camping in the rough, open fire cooking, critter avoidance, Top Ten remarks and general fun. 

 It's a great way to get your head back on straight, get some dirt under your fingernails and maybe frolic with a manatee.   If you've never been to River Madness, talk to Tom or Ike--the more, the merrier! Our main goal is to have fun--leave your watch at home, and you really won't need your makeup and hair dryer (no mirrors, no electricity!) 

If you show up with a laptop and ask where you can check your e-mail, well, we'll just hafta slap you!  And if you make it thru the weekend without mishap (hangovers not included...) you'll get your unofficial but very stylish RiverMadness SURVIVOR Badge!  (Not only that, but chances are we'll get a really nice picture of you when your hair's not combed and you've got something stuck between your teeth... and if you're lucky, we'll put it on this web page for millions to see!!!)  

So...Come on down, the water's fine!

This website is lovingly dedicated to Vera Lynn, a longtime companion of Tom Smith.  Vera Lynn loved to swim and hike and do all the other things good dogs do.  Although she is no longer with us, she remains on our minds and in our hearts. Vera Lynn, may you catch the fresh breeze in the verdant hills and swift rivers and roam forever young and free.
