Welcome To RiverMania!  — Here's the RiverRats on their Fall Tour of the Rivers.  A smaller contingent, but we still have a lot of fun.  Held November 17, 2000, this year we were graced with the presence of his Honor Jay, the ex-mayor of Mountain Park, Georgia.  He's a character, to say the least.  A bit outspoken, has an opinion on just about everything (and not afraid to express it, either!)  This man is a HOOT!  He kept us in stitches around the campfire. If you see Jay, ask him about his Asphalt Theory (in 10,000 years, asphalt will disintegrate and the green vegetation will reappear, so we really shouldn't worry about construction of the latest strip mall in our neighborhood!)

Some of the conversation should be rated PG-17, for after the boys went to bed, Jay cracked us up with his discourse on the "Pink-Nose Puppies"   "You just gotta love those pink nose-puppies--they just point their nose at you, waiting to be nuzzled, and they're so warm and cuddly" (this is really a thinly-veiled reference to a woman's breasts....)

Jay has a very unique business card, which we've duplicated here, except for his address and phone number, since we're sure Jay doesn't want some strange woman and her puppies showing up on his doorstep.

Matt, Paul and Danny stretch their legs after the long ride down to Florida from Georgia.	John, Jay, Kirsten and Darla.  John apparently has a big ole plug of chewing tobaccy going there.
Matt obviously needs to find a girlfriend so he can avoid unnatural acts with the Florida fish.	John's inflatable kayak--what a marvel of modern engineering.  It has baffles inside so it won't deflate, and it's super comfortable!
